There are many types of tabletops, including one or more buckets, cabinet type, desk type, etc. The chassis of the chassis-type machine base plays the role of supporting and storing the machine head, making the sewing machine easy to carry and store.

The transmission part of the sewing machine is composed of components such as a frame, a hand crank or an electric motor. The frame is the backbone of the machine, supporting the table and foot pedals. When in use, the operator steps on the foot pedal, which drives the pulley to rotate through the crank, and then drives the machine head to rotate through the belt. Most hand cranks or motors are directly mounted on the machine head.

In fact, we only need to clean, refuel, lubricate and other corresponding steps on the main components of the sewing machine. 1>Cleaning of sewing machine

(1) Cleaning of the feed dogs: Remove the screws between the needle plate and the feed dogs, remove lint and dust, and add a small amount of sewing machine oil.

(2) Cleaning the shuttle bed. The shuttle bed is the core of the sewing machine and is also the place where failures are most likely to occur. Therefore, dirt should be removed frequently and a small amount of sewing machine oil should be added.

(3) Cleaning of other parts The surface of the sewing machine and all parts within the panel should be cleaned regularly.

2> Lubrication of sewing machines

Special sewing machine oil must be used. The sewing machine should be fully refueled after one or several days of continuous use. If it is refueled between uses, the machine should be idle for a period of time to fully soak the oil and shake off the excess oil, and then wipe the machine head with a clean soft cloth. Wipe the surface and countertop clean to avoid staining the sewing material. Then thread and sew the rag, use the movement of the sewing thread to wipe it clean, and shake off excess oil stains until there are no oil stains on the rag, and then proceed to formal sewing.

3>The refueling parts include:

(1) Each oil hole on the machine head lubricates the upper shaft and the parts connected to the upper shaft.

(2) The components inside the panel and the movable parts connected to each component. Lubricate the presser foot bar and needle bar and the parts connected to them.

(3) Wipe the moving parts of the lower part of the machine board and add less oil.

There is no need to add too much oil to each refueling hole and refueling part, just one or two drops will do.

At the same time, we should also pay attention to the following points when maintaining the sewing machine:

  1. After the work is completed, insert the machine needle into the pinhole plate, lift the presser foot, and cover the machine head with a machine cover to prevent dust from intruding.

  2. When starting work, first check the main parts, how heavy the pedal is, whether there is any special sound, whether the needle is normal, etc. If any abnormality is found, it should be repaired in time.

3． After the machine has been used for a long time, it needs to be overhauled. If any parts that are worn out are found, they need to be replaced with new ones.
